Introduction

Other planets have sunlight, but the Earth is the only planet we know that has air and water. A diverse community of plant and animal life has thrived on this planet for millions of years, sustained by the sun and supported by the soil, water and air. Air is a precious resource that most of us take for granted. Air supplies us with oxygen and supports our respiratory system which is essential for our bodies to live. Without air, we would be unable to sustain life and absolutely die within minutes.

In the days before the proliferation of large cities and industry, nature's own systems kept the air fairly clean. Wind mixed and dispersed the gases, rain washed the dust and other easily dissolved substances to the ground and plants absorbed carbon dioxide and replaced it with oxygen. Pure air contains a mixture of several gases that are invisible and odorless. It consists of about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and less than 1% of argon, carbon dioxide, and other gases — as well as varying amounts of water vapor.

Today, with increasing urbanisation and industrialisation, our atmosphere does not only consist of elements above. Our air is contaminated…Polluted by certain gases, particulate matter and fume where could be harmful to our health at certain level and kill the humans well- being and animals finally damage to plant and materials. Humans started to release more wastes into the atmosphere than nature could cope with. Unfortunately nature can no longer manage air pollution without our help our effort. It’s scary, but it has to be told some of air pollutions create global problems, such as upper atmosphere ozone depletion and global warming. These problems are very complex, and we not only can solve alone!! We require international cooperative efforts to find solutions including of YOU.. You cannot give any excuse!! This is OUR issue, our problem and our concern. Thus this blog is created is a one of our alternative to enhance the awareness and increase responsiveness among of you about how important of Air in our daily life.
